My kindergarten students attend an inner city school in Pennsylvania. Our school encompasses children from over 40 different countries! Instead of focusing on our differences, we decide to celebrate them! Our classroom is a welcoming environment where all children feel safe. We often talk about our classroom as being a family where we work together as we achieve our goals throughout the year. The students that I have the pleasure of working with enjoy reading stories, working independently in various learning centers, singing songs and participating in hands on learning activities daily.
