Simple tools that can improve overall motor skills allows students to take charge of their learning and feel successful. During independent work times that require motor skills the tools provided from this project will increase their independence and their success. Currently students with poor motor skills are falling behind their peers in the classroom. Providing students with magic tools to improve those motor skills is an essential component in their success in the classroom. I have noticed amazing differences in my students when they are given something as simple as a different paper or a pencil grip. Their final pieces of classwork improve as well as their confidence in those areas. The products that I have selected will help students by giving them the tools they need to be successful in the classroom. The pencil grips, small pencils, and weights improve grip, pencil pressure, fatigue, and stamina. The slant-boards provide stability when writing. Wiggle cushions will be extremely beneficial for some students that just need to get the wiggles out. I have seen how simple tools can positively affect students work and demeanor!
