I teach 6th grade at Fannin Elementary. I teach science and social studies everyday. Each class has about 22 students. The school I am at does not receive much funding, so we are dependent on our PTA for much of our funding help. Being a middle class school, we are constantly having to scrounge for materials. My students have good support form home and a love for learning, but lack of materials in the classroom puts pressure on the teachers to provide materials for teaching especially in the science and social studies areas.
