"Are you a pen-clicker? A hair-twirler? A knee-bouncer? Did you ever get in trouble for fidgeting in class? Don't hang your head in shame. All that movement may be helping you think." My students are faced with various challenges each day, both in and out of the classroom. For some of them, school is the only safe and consistent experience that they have in their lives so I work hard to provide a fun and stimulating learning environment every day. They are intensely curious, energetic, crave positive attention, and love to move around. When they are in my classroom, my goal is to provide them with the best learning experience. We achieve this by setting reachable and meaningful goals that focus on their potential and growth. Alternative seating will better foster individualized learning and prepare students for learning in the 21st century!
