This year's play is "Into the Woods." We will be working with Paperhand Puppets this year during a five-week residency to learn the art of paper mache and help build key items for the set. The supplies requested will help my students complete the necessary assignments that are given each week by our visiting artist. He will show us a skill and each week we will need to have it completed by the next visit. The Americana Decou-Page - Gloss will give the final product a nice shine that will be seen during the play. We need scissors to help cut materials and all of my scissors are five years old. Carton sealing tape is amazing for paper mache; it is not messy and it is strong and sturdy when covering materials.
