My students are all very bright and very smart, but most of them have little to no experience with technology of any kind. Many of them do not have computers at home, so whenever they have to use the one computer at my desk, they are constantly in need of direction and need help even with basic computer functions. The students are all excited to learn how to use computers and tablets, but I only have one computer in the classroom (this is shared between myself and 32 students). Additionally, my teacher iPad isn't sufficient for teaching how to save and edit word documents, find specific files within the computer, copy and paste information, etc. The students are all very enthusiastic and willing to learn. I am confident with the help of student computers as well as teaching resources both online and via cds and applications, I will be able to provide quality instruction to help move my students forward in a technology driven world.
