Our school is an early learning center that houses our district's preschool and Kindergarten classes. Our students live in low to middle income households, 60% of whom receive free or reduced lunches. Part of our districts' beliefs is that all students have unlimited potential. I am a special education teacher who Co teaches with two phenomenal Kindergarten teachers. My teaching partners and I believe that in order to tap into that unlimited potential, our students need to be in their optimal learning mode. First we build a relationship with each child, then we create learning activities to meet the needs of every child. With the increasing expectations for these students comes new challenges with instruction. One of the challenges is allowing students the movement and physical activity they need in order to focus and attend to instruction. Please consider donating to our project. Thank you.
