Within the last few years, the city of Baltimore has been in the press for many negative reasons. As a teacher in Baltimore City, I see wonderful things every day. This certainly includes a school community with fantastic, dedicated staff members, and students, who are trying their best to often create positives out of difficult out of school experiences. Donors Choose gives me the opportunity to expose my students to aspects of life that they may never see otherwise. These things involve books, technology, field trips, and a safe, comfortable and inviting classroom.

About my class
