Welcome to our ELA 5th grade classroom-a classroom dedicated to hands-on, meaningful, engaging activities designed to allow students to discover meaning for themselves. Benjamin Franklin once said, "Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn." With each passing year, I believe this philosophy more and more. We are fortunate enough to be in a district that allows each student to have an iPad, so we take full advantage of them! In our classroom, we love to read, write, research, and share ideas.
