My students come from diverse backgrounds, and having books such as the ones I have picked will help them connect to the history in a deeper way. I always like to have books on different topics, just to get my kids interested in reading. They will also provide more knowledge on topics that my kids want to dive deeper into. The pencils will be even more necessary when we return to school as the students will not be able to share supplies, and pencils are a hot commodity. Finally, the rolling cart will help me transition between my classes while keeping a good distance from the children when required.
