My technology education lab is designed to provide students with flexible, relevant learning opportunities. We try to maintain up-to-date learning opportunities that include computer game design, 3D computer animation, 3D modeling, CAD applications, and robotic design. Our prototyping equipment include self-built 3D printers, CNC routers and a laser engraver. By producing the models that the students design enhances their learning and feedback experience and inspires them to reach even further. I have even had several students build their own 3D printers over the past several years. New for next year- a class on Drones and Flight that prepares kids to take the FAA certification for commercial use. When planning for new classroom experiences each year, I enjoy hearing graduating students say "why didn't we do that this year?" in reference to something new we will try the next year. Technology is always changing.
