My students are eager to learn, energetic and enthusiastic. They have great energy and love the chance to use technology to increase their learning. They really enjoy reading the books I have for them, especially the ones on the computers! The biggest challenge I face is having a small group of children for 45 minutes; giving the direct instruction and then being able to have each student apply what we have learned to their own reading, when each student is from a different grade level. Letting each student read a grade level, or individual leveled book, hearing their own voice, and knowing that it is being recorded for someone else to listen to will really hold them accountable and build a sense of pride in their reading voices.
