I work at a 1:1 iPad school and try to implement technology as much as possible in my daily lessons and activities. I use an LCD projector everyday to project my lessons and students' work. Last semester I had to borrow a projector because mine broke and the school didn’t have a replacement. When one gets into the habit of using technology on a daily basis, it’s scary when your projector dies and you have no idea when it will be replaced. I did get a replacement to use during the last few weeks of school but was told “we have no idea how long this one will last”. Now starting a new school year in a few days, I’m hoping to not have to worry if my LDC projector will be ready for me and my incoming 8th graders to use!
