Many of my students are locked in their imagination. They have never ventured past their neighborhood or town, let alone to different states, nations, or cultures. Providing my students with miniature portals to outside experiences will help me in guiding them through developing their character and critical thinking skills. With the amount of variety this series provides, there is an adventure for every type of student. This book series also provides high repeated readability due to the different decisions that the reader must engage in. This allows the students to experience something new every time they read it. This book series will allow us to introduce different cultures and locations to my students and to use their curiosity as springboards into meaningful conversations.
