My suburban, California classroom consists of a mixed population of regular education students, students who receive instruction in our school Learning Center, and students who struggle with reading. All students love the challenge of new information and new concepts. No matter what ability level the student brings to the classroom, each student does their best to succeed in their studies. Technology, and the use of computers and "Smart Boards" allow teachers to compete with the fast paced world our students live in and afford the student a hands on approach to their learning. We feel that the purchase of I Pads would assist our learning and understanding of our studies as we navigate the new realm of the Common Core curriculum. We could interact with the curriculum using numerous apps and programs enabling us to completely understand our learning units as we graph, research, and report on our studies.
