This carpet would make a difference in my students' lives by providing structure, comfort, and encouraging social development within our classroom. With my classroom being the first school experience for many of these young learners, I feel that it is extremely important to create and bright and comforting environment. A carpet provides a place to learn, play, relax, dance, and bond with our classroom family. It provides each child with a spot to call their own in our classroom, as we do not have desks or enough chairs/tables for each of our students. It provides the structure during circle time that allows our children to focus.

About my class
