My students are currently acquiring skills on individual ability levels. This requires individual instruction to meet all students unique needs. As we know, students learn through one of three methods. One of those methods is process of acquiring skills auditory. For students who have difficulty with reading, auditory avenues tend to be the best method when introducing new skills, This does include creative writing skills. Students need to be able to gather information in order to create successful writers. Headphones will be a resource for non-readers, as well as, average readers to use to access auditory information used in their writing process. This includes access to author discussions, video chats, research projects and many other resources. Headphones will also be used to sharpen auditory processing skills.
