I am requesting bouncy bands for my students. Eighth graders are growing, growing, growing! These 13- and 14- year olds need to move their bodies. I have four Bouncy Bands in my classroom, and there is a huge need for more! I have students asking me each day if they could please sit in a desk with a Bouncy Band, and unfortunately I don't have enough for everyone who wants and needs one. My amazing eighth graders sit in math class for two hours each day! We take a break part way through, and I try to incorporate movement during class, but many of them still need to bounce their legs. Bouncy Bands are very beneficial as they provide a way for students to get their wiggles out without disrupting their neighbors. I have four Bouncy Bands so 20 more Bouncy Bands will make sure everyone can have one that wants one.
