Teaching is a process that takes many elements working together. We are both the student and the teacher. My goal is to make each child feel loved, valued, and empowered. The classroom climate is set by effective routines and procedures. Every child can be successful, some may just need some motivation. It is okay to make mistakes, as long as you learn from them. Every student can learn and has the potential to succeed. Each child is an individual and has their own learning style. Students should be assessed in the way that allows them to best express their abilities. Great teachers go above and beyond. The classroom should be a safe, inviting, and stimulating environment. Teachers should have high expectations.
