My 85 scholars are labeled as the 5th Grade Talented and Gifted, General Ed, and Special Ed Students. They are a very inquisitive and knowledgeable group of individuals who always pushes for success in their academic endeavors. As they work day to day to achieve their goals to progress to the 6th grade they show teamwork, perseverance, dedication to helping one another become successful in and outside the classroom. Our schools environment is very family and student oriented. As my students are the "school leaders" they are well mannered and look after the other children in the school. We have a few students in our class who help with after school tutoring for kindergarten and first grade students. Just seeing the assistance and guidance that 5th grade shows helps to move this school in the right direction.
