My classroom is a second home to many of my students, many of which come from various backgrounds and walks of life. My goal is to create a classroom environment that can reach my students untapped potential and allow them to thrive in a learning environment geared to their needs. My students range from a variety of learners. My goal is not to create a one size fits all room but a room that can be molded to each individual student throughout my educational career. My classroom is a second home to many of my students. Too many times I have seen a student feel uncomfortably physically and emotionally in classrooms. In a perfect world students would come to school well rested, with a full stomach, ready to learn. The reality is this is a false assumption. Many of my students need a safe and inviting place to not only learn but thrive as a person. In providing these classroom resources, such as the bean bags and ball chairs, I believe my room will foster creative and motivated learning opportunities for my students.
