My students live in an economically challenged area in a stagnant economy. We need supplies and materials in the classroom to stimulate higher order thinking skills and create hands on activities that will help students make connections, through experience, with scientific concepts that are hard to learn via textbooks and worksheets alone. Hands on activities turn on minds. Team building and collaboration are important social skills that middle school aged children need to develop to be productive contributors in the real world. Please consider donating to our classroom. These students are our future.
