My students need independent "light-up" resources that help them work collaboratively. My scholars will be using these glowing materials to display their thinking behind sounds in words and quantifying numbers. This is a wonderful way to record and revise knowledge through using direct examples of student work. The display trays can hold a variety of tactile-kinesthetic materials needed to match initial sounds, illustrations from stories, journals for writing prompts, and so much more. The possibilities are endless! The light-up table will help make new and correct information "pop" as these colors are aesthetically pleasing and command your attention. I am hoping to implement new ways of helping reach them across all content areas, while being sensitive about their current state back home. The literacy centers bring bright, colorful, and a welcoming feeling to our classroom. I would like to transform some of our literacy centers so that their learning is purposeful as the navigate for the first time through the ABC's.
