My room currently has a couple wiggle cushions for the students to use but there are not enough to go around. The wobble chairs that I would like are stools that have a sturdy base but allow movement and wiggle. The ball chair is similar to a yoga ball but has sturdy legs to help it stay in place. These options allow them to wiggle but also stay where I choose in the classroom. The wobble chairs and ball chairs along with what I already have will allow students to choose the seat that helps them the most. These options give them the natural movement they need while focusing on instruction. Students who have focusing issues miss important instruction and their academic progress slows down. By having seating that allows movement, students will find it easier to focus which will increasing their learning! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
