My students are in need of 4 iPads with protective cases in order to enhance their learning. Having iPads in my classroom can completely change the level of learning for my students in many different ways. During small groups, iPads can easily be used to access different reading resources based on individual student needs; while also providing the same benefit during independent reading, except based on interest. Having the technology available where both the student and teacher are seeing the same information allows me to thoroughly assist students with deeper understanding of content and diminish common misunderstandings within a text. This is especially important with my students that struggle with understanding academic concepts. I also teach writing and have many reluctant writers. The iPad allows my students to record what they want to say and then put it into writing and make any writing lesson more engaging.
