The biggest area my 2nd graders have a hard time with is listening and focusing on the lessons and directions being taught. Kids have a short attention span even if the lessons are engaging and interactive. My projects will help students be able to focus more and have engaging activities and hands-on learning. Studies have proven that alternative seating helps improve the students' success in class! It's amazing to see how one teacher's students scores have improved so much because the students were able to sit on something other than at their hard desks. I remember days in school and college and how I would lose focus after about 30 minutes. The seats are hard and uncomfortable, and you are constantly moving to get comfortable.
