Pocket charts galore in 2nd grade! Having a double stand for pocket charts will be an absolute life and space saver! We use them for Filling Buckets (giving complements), completing academics tasks (word families activity), visuals for centers: groups/expectations, calendar, etc. Pocket folders offer each student an organized, color coded folder for each subject area. The craft cabinet will give students a central place to independently find needed supplies, and mailboxes for take-home papers. Play-dough is great for strengthening hand muscles, improving fine motor, and building stamina. We also need hooks, books, and sharpeners!
