Sensory toys and objects to help create a more functional classroom, like colored folders My students need sensory toys to help them be more comfortable in various situations. Giving items that give sensory input, such as a whole body hug, can help my students feel safe and help them function. Having sensory toys, such as the gamer chair and lights, can help my students work, be calm, and be more confident. In order for children to feel well, they must feel comfortable in their own skin; sensory toys and activities can help provide that specific attention.
