Donations to this project will make a different with my students' learning because it will bring me closer to my goal of receiving full funding to provide my students with materials they need to assist them in being academically successful as well as comfortable. My students are entering seventh grade after being with their previous teacher for at least two consecutive years. Everything will be new to them. I have to immediately develop a trusting relationship with them as well as keep them engaged in order to provide instruction. The materials I am seeking will help me in developing a rapport with my students and parents as I begin a wonderful school year. The parents are more supportive when they see their comfort of their child in the classroom.
