New soccer goals and soccer balls will allow for additional student collaboration and team play during their recess periods. The sport of soccer is currently the most played sport internationally making it the perfect opportunity for fostering student relationships that cross cultural boundaries. Without adequate equipment on the playing field, fewer students engage in this well-loved sport which can benefit them through physical exertion and through social interaction. For many dual-cultural students, soccer gives them a common outlet in which to engage their fellow classmates. This enrichment can help to boost student output within the classroom as well as outside the classroom.
