My students have limited space to store their independent reading and writing materials in our classroom. These storage sacks would give them easy accessibility to their materials which would increase the amount of time that can be spent on learning rather than getting materials out and ready and putting them away. The listening center headphones would allow for a listening station where students can listen and follow along to their favorite books as an independent work station during literacy block. The alphabet beads not only help the students practice spelling but also fine motor skills. Adding in a kinesthetic aspect to the activity reaches students who have other learning styles. The rainbow sentence strips are important for modeling writing for the students as well as building class writing as a group.
