All students want to have full tummies so they can do their best in school... that's why having a classroom refrigerator is so important! This will allow us to keep extra snacks, water bottles, and food for students.... right in my classroom. Occasionally, students forget their snack and water bottle, but some of my students NEVER bring a snack and water bottle from home, simply because their parents can't afford it. It would be nice to be able to keep extra food and water just a few steps away from where we are working, reading, and learning. In addition, our school cafeteria will not allow us to put classroom and personal food in their industrial refrigerator. This mini-fridge will also aide in allowing us to keep food for parties and special treats, longer! Our school day is very long for 5 year old children and snack time is a very important part of our day. A small snack from our class refrigerator may make the difference in student behavior, performance, learning, mindset, nutrition, and health. Each child deserves the opportunity to do the very best that he/she can in school.... and a refrigerator can help do just THAT!
