My students are 9th through 12th graders from various ethnic and religious backgrounds. They are from impoverished communities, but take a "no excuses" stance when it comes to pursuing their education. The school is a safe haven for them where they are welcomed, are treated as family, and are expected to achieve, be responsible, and work hard.
