Our school district is located in a community with a high rate of poverty. All of the students in our PreK-2nd grade building receive free breakfast and lunch on a daily basis. There are some families that do not have a vehicle, telephone, computer, or other items that we consider basics! It is an incredible experience to many young students to be able to learn how to use the computer and other electronic devices so I know that getting to use an iPad or laptop would certainly be an incentive to learn to read, to improve skills and to read fluently. About my class
