My scholars need technology in order to successfully participate in virtual learning expeditiously! They are a group of economically disadvantaged minority students with 100% of them receiving free lunch. Our community was thriving at once, but due to the recent pandemic and unexpected rise in unemployment of families, the access to technology has significantly plummeted. Nevertheless, our students are a very talented group of youth who often express their dreams to overcome various adversities in order to become successful citizens. Our school is situated in an urban setting and is surrounded by community businesses. These businesses are struggling to survive as well which results in fewer opportunity for charity or resources for our school.
