The Port Morris section of the Bronx has an annual income of less than $40,000. School supplies should be the least of parent’s worries. Learning tools such as pencils, erasers and reading books can make a difference in a child’s education. With new books and school supplies, my students will be able to have access to everyday learning tools. Since I am teaching special education students, furniture such as the wobble chair stool and pads will help accommodate students to focus on their learning. I have seen how school supplies can affect my students’ work and demeanor. It is my hope that by having accessible learning tools to help them grow even more!

About my class
