My students are kindergarteners in an urban public school. Several speak English as a second language and have limited access to technology outside of school. Like all kindergarteners, mine are eager to explore new and innovative ways to learn! As of 2013-2014, there were 345 students enrolled at my school. 75.4% were low income students, 14.8% were Special Education Students, and 21.7% were Limited English Learners. The largest demographic at my school was Hispanic. As of that time, this demographic made up 64.3% of the student population. The second greatest demographic was White at 19.4%.
