It is sometimes easy to forget how basic supplies are not available to everyone. Students often go without the essential tools to succeed...like pencils, erasers, and paper. With this project, I am hoping to set up all of my students for success and having all the necessary supplies makes this task a reality. Please help me help my well-deserving scholars reach their goals and ensure a bright future for all. We do use a lot of technology in the classroom, but there are many minutes in the day when students need to use paper and pencil to convey their thoughts. We are getting back to handwriting as research has shown the ability to be proficient in manuscript and cursive handwriting is a needed skill. The appreciation of "old -fashioned" methods of communication should walk hand-in-hand with technology. The two areas compliment each other beautifully. “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” --Nelson Mandela
