By purchasing thirty shareable copies of each of our Project Lit. Book Club titles for the spring semester, we will continue our efforts to flood our community with great books such as Time Bomb and When I was the Greatest, champion and celebrate reading, and engage in monthly community-wide book discussions. Project LIT Community equips and empowers teachers and students to increased access to high-quality, culturally relevant books inside and outside of the classroom, promotes a love of reading in our schools and communities, and brings people together through reading. Student will have an opportunity to check out the books from their English teachers or the librarian. At the end of each month, we will host a community-wide Book Club discussion to share our responses and ideas about our shared reading experience. Students, teachers, parents, administrators, and community members are all welcome to join us!
