I am an Intervention Specialist who offers Tier 2 and Tier 3 instruction to students that are struggling to learn to read and write. Often struggling students are not learning because they don't learn in a "one size fits all" way. They need some differentiated instruction. I will use these resources in a small group setting and make the learning hands on, engaging, and tactile. I will tap into various modalities that may spark a different part of the brain and help my students to break the code to get them on the road to becoming lifelong readers and writers.
