Our school is a public school in rural upstate South Carolina that serves 4K through fifth grade. There are approximately 550 students school-wide, and one-third of these students do not speak English as their primary language. The majority of our students are living below poverty level. My twenty students are typical third graders who love playing outside, watching the Disney Channel, and playing soccer! They enjoy school and have a true desire to learn. One of our major goals this year has been learning to LOVE reading!
