These resources will promote the ELA 9-10.6 standard and fulfill a COVID-related need in my class. Even though the district I work for has adopted the 1:1 technology ideal, many of these students run into unexpected issues with both the school issued and their own devices. Having a backup is imperative. These Chromebooks will assist my students in reaching the goals of becoming better writers, retaining their credit and keeping morale up, using the technology required at this time. Most of these students may be new to the school or have an emergency where their own personal device is not working. Instead of not being able to complete the tasks, students can use a classroom Chromebook and still get their work done for the day.
