My students attend a public charter school, they choose to come to us. They come from many different backgrounds, most from military homes in North Carolina. We are at a small school where I am the one of two 2nd grade teachers. The students work hard all year to accomplish the goals we set at the start of the year. Many of my students struggle because as they grow up in the technology age, we have very few hands on tools for the students to use.
