My students are absolutely wonderful, and so very appreciative of the opportunity they have to take classes in an online environment. Approximately 85% of my students elect to take STEM courses in the online environment, many of whom plan to attend college in the same field they're learning about now. Helping to prepare them for the variety of technologies they'll need to use fluently is my ultimate goal. Lack of public education funding makes it quite difficult to provide my students with 21st Century tools. The students are so excited at the possibility of having 2 iPads to use for their online learning! The students know they'll have to sign-up and take turns if we are able to obtain the iPads, but they're willing to wait!
