In our art class we offer students ceramics, which allows an opportunity for all of our students to be creative in their learning. They have made projects about the phases of the moon, the life cycle of a butterfly, and history work on creating different representations of cultures around the world. Their creativity is what drives our class and the beautiful learning that happens. In order for our students to create these pieces to last a lifetime, we need material such as glaze and underglaze to give color and life to their projects! We need rolling pins because all we have been able to use are pens or pencils to roll out the clay. This will allow our students to create artwork with more clay and bigger inspiration! When we return to school we will be using these materials to continue our projects started from home. All students are so incredibly creative and giving them these materials will help our students thrive both at home and in school!
