I serve students learning English as their second language, and many of these students have come to the United States or were born here into adversity we couldn't even imagine facing. They are as equally deserving as any student of access to the latest technology and other resources while they're learning their new language, especially as they use those resources to expand their vocabulary and explore new concepts. Most of them don't have Internet access at home, and hardly any of them have even a single computer or other technological device outside of school. My students are hard-working, persevering, and kind-hearted young men and women with ambitious goals of making the world a better place as they learn more and more English.

About my class
