East Ascension High School is located in Ascension Parish in an area that was heavily impacted by this years historic flooding. The sports medicine program at EA is highly valued and respected. It gives students the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation of athletic injury. These dedicated students spend hundreds of hours working in the athletic training facility with injured athletes and covering practices and games. After the flooding, we were left with limited supplies and short on funding for some items that would allow them to learn and work more efficiently. We could really use some help in raising money for some of the items that would keep our program moving forward. Through your generosity and support, the sports medicine program at EA will continue to grow in value and bring students more opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills everyday. Thank you.
