Through hands-on activities, students will investigate igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks; rock formation and the rock cycle. Students are able to interact with real samples and materials from the Earth instead of just reading about them in a textbook. My students crave real world applications of the topics we are covering. Students learn about their world with an innovative approach that makes science engaging, current, and comprehensible. Students will develop their curiosity through opened ended inquiry activities making them engaged and passionate learners. By giving them a chance to experience the real thing, students will deepen their understanding of the world around them.

About my class
