We currently have a small, borrowed carpet in our classroom. Unfortunately, not all students can fit comfortably during carpet time, and this tends to be where we spend the majority of our day. If our class was able to afford a larger rug, we would have room for everyone to sit comfortably throughout the day. This would allow everyone to have their own space and for no one to have to sit on the floor. Please help my kiddos have a place to share, where there is room for everyone to learn comfortably. We daily join at the carpet for phonics, shared reading, read alouds, turn and talks, and lots of mini lessons! As you can imagine that is a lot of time at the carpet where we all have a hard time fitting.
