The students at my school are extremely proud of our high tunnel greenhouse. They enjoy it so much that many of them were more disappointed when it was destroyed in the flood than when they found out their playground was gone as well. One of the many benefits of receiving a high quality camera is that we will be able to capture amazing photographs of all stages of gardening from getting the soil ready to harvesting and enjoying our vegetables! Our students work hard to plan, plant, tend to and harvest our vegetables and need a way to document and show off their bounty. Our school is a very small but caring community. The donation of a high quality camera will allow our students and teachers from our whole school to document and showcase our many successes on our school website, county newspaper as well as projects. Many of our students would benefit from photography lessons that would teach them a new skill and enhance their creativity. The students in our upper grades would love to learn about photography and create their own portfolios that will impress their families! From being the "class photographer" in the greenhouse to taking pictures for our yearbook, the possibilities for our kids are endless! Thank you so much for considering donating to our little school with a big personality!
